The 60’s for me were as typical as most young men. Some college, some Vietnam combat and a lot of aimlessness.
Rachel brought me relief in the spring of ’71. We married the next year. At that time someone said she would be the counter-balance in my life. He was prophetic. She is such a blessing!
The '03 photo is at our favorite go-to vacation spot … Sanibel Island. In Dec '10 we returned after a 5 year hiatus. While it was unusually chilly the beach was still beautiful and the visit quite refreshing.
Both of us graduated from Florida State University. In 1975 we moved back to Ohio. Our three kids and five grandkids are all doing well. Since our oldest daughter lives in Brasil, we have grown rather fond of that place. Rachel, a frequent flier, can now do the trip blindfolded.
Rachel has always been an industrious gal. Active as a musician/director in various church or local theater gigs, she also owned & operated a health food store for 20 years. For the last decade she has been a health consultant specializing in mold, fungus & parasites. Those with an interest in such matters may want to visit her website at:

I spent 31 years with the North Olmsted Police Department. I retired on a cold, snowy Friday night in Jan 07 and never looked back. There is no bad taste - it is simply great to be free.
I am truly grateful for all God has done for me.
The last couple years I have compiled a series of essays on Biblical prophecy. By no way a necrotic topic, it is moored to a host of other subjects such as history, politics, commerce, geophysics and the like. This evolving project also has its own website and can be viewed at: http://lastdaysarehere.com.
Of late I made short "movie" about life as a Nam infantryman. This was in response to one sent me by a friend now in Afghanistan.
May you discover the Lord and His blessings!
