I attended Stetson U. in DeLand, FL as a Spanish major, with my junior year at the Univ. of Madrid, Spain (and I wouldn't trade that year for the other 3!!) After graduation, I went to work for Delta Air Lines in Atlanta. I worked everything from Stewardess scheduling (yes, they were still called that back then) to ticket counter, gate agent and many special assignments including helping develop the computerized seat selection system.

Later I was in Consumer Affairs handling payment of baggage claims and complaints and compliments from customers with disabilities. My favorite job was as the liaison with the Department of Transportation in Washington for the treatment of customers with disabilities and helping develop Delta's policies for the treatment of customers with disabilities.

My husband, Larry, was also with Delta and we have been married since 1973. We are retired from Delta and now live on beautiful Lake Martin, AL. Larry and I both worked in real estate here on Lake Martin for a number of years and I eventually was president of the Lake Martin Association of Realtors before retiring for good.
