The 60’s for me were typical for most. Some college, some Vietnam combat. A lot of aimlessness.
Rachel brought me relief in the spring of ’71. We married the next year. At that time someone said she would be the counter-balance in my life. It was prophetic. She is such a blessing!
The photo is at our favorite go-to vacation spot … Sanibel Island . Circa ‘03.
Both of us graduated from Florida State University and have been back in Ohio since ’75. Our three kids and four grandkids are doing well. Half our family now lives in Brazil . We love our visits there. So much so we bought a home in Anapolis, not too far from Brasília, the capital of Brazil.
Rachel owned a health food store, in North Olmsted for 20 years. She is now a health consultant specializing in mold, fungus & parasites.
I spent 31 years with North Olmsted Police. Left the job on a cold, snowy Friday night in Jan 07. Never looked back. It is simply great to be free. I am truly grateful for all God has done. |
